Motivational Quotes

It is a good rule to face difficulties at the time they arise and not allow them to increase unacknowledged.-- Edward W. Ziegler

"It's not all about you. You have to take your ego out and think to about what's best for the child and you care about them enough to help them transition to what's next."Renatta Cooper

"Children benefit most from teachers who have the skills, knowledge, and judgment to make good decisions and are given the opportunity to use them".
Susan Bredekamp

  1. I like the two comments that you have posted for your inspiration this week. The quote that you have from Renatta Cooper is so true. A lot teachers are just about themselves and are just trying to get that pay check instead of thinking about what is best for the child. Sometime I believe that teachers forget that these kids are our future. They are going to be the one that are our doctors and lawyers, but if we don't better prepare them then what will their future and our future hold. Susan Bedekamp is also a person that I choose in my discussion and I like the quote that you choose from her because it is so true. That's why it's so important that our teachers and caregivers are properly educated so that they can make a positive impact on theses students.

  2. I find Susan Bredekamp to be very down to earthy, but also inspiring. I like the quote of hers that you found as it resonates with my own beliefs. I'm very excited to be studying right now so that I can have even better "skills, knowledge, and judgement!"

  3. First off all three of your quotes are great! Your quote by Edward Zielger is very true. So many times people push away difficult things thinking it will go away but it always return jus as difficult if not more. Handle them head on a with a positive mind and claim victory. The quate by Susan Bredekamp is very accurate. Teachers should stay on top of changes that are being made and take training that will offer them skills and knowledge to better educate our changing youth/society. As Chawanda said, 'These children are our future."

  4. Hi Tiffany,
Nice quote from Susan Bredekamp. In order to help young children reaching their best potential, the children need to learn from the best teaching method available.

  5. Hi Jerri,
I enjoy reading Marian Wright Edelman’s articles. She is my hero. She is founder of Children’s Defense Fund. This program supports, helps and protects all children including minority children.
