This is my new husband Ronrico Green and my
stepdaughter Ja’Maya Green. My husband and daughter have influenced me in more
ways than one. They have helped me to become a mature adult and learn how it
feels to have someone depend on you for their everyday needs. I have learned to adjust my feelings and
share them so that my family will continue to love and cherish one another and
build an unbreakable bond. Every woman
has the power influence their family for the better or worse.
This is my sister Kendri T. McCracken growing up I saw my
sister as the authority figure on just about everything due to our mother
always working. She made sure I always
had everything I ever needed and wanted. Being seven years apart we didn’t always
see eye to eye especially when she was a senior and I was only in the 6th
grade and all I wanted to do was hang with her and her friend (which never
happened). I would never ask for a better big sister .
This is my wonderful mother Mrs. Yvette Allen. A bond between a mother and daughter is powerful. It affects everything from her daughters
health to her self-esteem and even her relationships with others. My mother has been there for me since day one
and has never let me go without. She also married a man who accepted me and my
sister as his own and it meant a lot to me because I was able to marry my best
friend and take in his daughter as my own because of her great choices.

ReplyDeleteI can see that these people have influenced you and you have influenced them as well. I thought it was very inspirational what you said about your new husband and how he and his daughter have taught you to share your feelings with them and sort of be more responsible because they need you. Also, I am very big on education so I think it is just wonderful that you have influenced your niece in a way that allows her to continue doing well in school. This might help her influence people in the same way one day. It is very important to have positive influences on the younger generation as they are very impressionable and affected by so much other negativity around them. Reading your influences have inspired me to continue to be as impactful as I am now on others' lives. I hope these people appreciate you as much as I appreciate you sharing these experiences.
I love what you wrote about your niece. I think its wonderful that you provided such positive motivation for her, and now she is able to return that gift to you. That cyclical flow of encouragement could become a very powerful source of support for both of you. :) Congratulations on having such a lovely relationship in your life!
